Checking out roumers in Amsterdam

Hello Hello Hello

The space cake says hello, and so does the wooden shoe. Have u guessed where we are? That’s right guys, we are in Amsterdam. What is bound to be our last destination on our journey, and a destination where we might or might not try the space cake….
So leaving China was easy, no regrets there. It was a bit too crowdie and big for us, but I guess it’s good that we visited it since now we can cross it off our list over “countries to visit list”. A list that’s getting shorter and shorter as our journey continues. Yeah, ( and it will get shorter when we once again pack our bags and leave Helsinki.)

Anyhow, back to Amsterdam. Which is the capital of Holland with its 700 000 inhabitants, and a city known for their drugs, wooden shoe and the red light district. Off course we had to check out the last two things, and they where quit impressive. Or shall I say, like nothing u have ever seen. Where else will u find girls dancing in the window screen with the curtains vide open???? Wonder if they don’t realize that the curtains are open or if it’s just meant to be….. hmm, a question worth checking into. . Hehe hehe. Well, we arrived Amsterdam with an awesome jet lag. Around 12 hours in a plain with the time ticking the wrong way so the day just lasted for ever. Non there less, we decided to head into town. To the city train station we arrived with 10 hours to kill, and since the time at the moment was around 07:00 on a Sunday there was not much to do or things to see. So we took what god gave us and started walking towards center of Amsterdam. Witch they ironically calls the dam. Amsterdam is a really small city, but at night we bet it’s alive. Like really alive, like when Finland won the World cup in hockey type off busy. (100 000 fans partying and having fun, awesome).

That early on a Sunday morning the only thing that was open where some bakery places and off course some coffee shops. But after a quick coffee we started our sightseeing trip with Madame Tussauds museum, and the center square where they prepared for a beach volley tournament. From there the walk took us to some scenic sights like, the Hard Rock Café, a lot of churches and off course the red light district. We found the half naked girls flirting with u from the windows strange, and not tempting at all when u saw what kind of guys that came out from their room :S Disgusting indeed. Well the hours in Amsterdam went fast, and we had to go back to the airport.

Well back in Finland we look back on our journey with no regrets, the things we have seen, done and all the amazing people we met. Thank you all and this is good bye for this time.

Life your life cause u only live it once! :)
